Good morning! I hope you all had a nice, long weekend. I got a ton of work off my plate on Saturday so I was able to relax with family on Sunday and Monday. I love that!
The month of May has been busy and really full of celebration. There have been birthdays, of course, and then there was my dad’s retirement party…
My dad has been an elementary school principal for the past several years… and an amazing one at that! But he retired this year, and then got an opportunity for a new job with the school district that he’s super excited about. We’re having a party for him this weekend that went from “Retirement Party” to “Congratulations on the New Job and Your Retirement Party.” It’s funny how life works sometimes. 🙂
Summer glassware has come out and I am taking that as the unofficial sign of the start of the season! We have had an amazing May temperature-wise, but I think this week is supposed to be full of 100+ degree days. Time for hanging by the pool, tank tops, etc. I’m excited!
Someone’s got a birthday on the 6th — I can’t believe he is going to be eight years old! Noooo! Not my baby!
