Good morning! This past weekend was an awesome one for me — just the right amount of time spent with family, lounging, shopping, eating, etc. It was pretty epic as far as weekends go. 🙂
I was perusing a blog I love, The Enchanted Home, on Saturday, and the author Tina does these Sunday round-up posts where she writes about things that she’s got on her mind that week. AND…she grabs inspirational Instagram photos and curates a collection of pretty accounts to follow. This one is literally me right now. I got a good laugh. Can anyone else relate?
On Saturday morning my mom and I went over to the Kiwanis Marketplace in Carefree where they have a gigantic collection of everything from antiques to junk, and it was so much fun to look through everything carefully and slowly. I took these two pieces home with me and I am so excited. My mother-in-law has an impressive collection of silver and I want to start some little collections of things I love of my own, too. Silver is one of them. I love using her pieces for decorating and I think they are just so versatile.
The Marketplace is awesome because all money is donated back into the community. 🙂
On Sunday, me, my husband, and his parents went to the most amazing flea market called Sweet Salvage. This is just one of the many inspirational vignettes and I will do a full post about it later this week because, trust me, it warrants its own post. They had their Halloween market going on and it was absolutely incredible.
After the market, we went to a new restaurant called Toasted that did not disappoint. They call themselves a Grilled Cheese Gastropub. Need I say more? (If you go, the Raspbrie is your go-to).
Silver was the theme this weekend. 😉 This piece followed me home. I love the gorgeous shape!
Of course, no Around The House post is complete without a picture of my fur-baby. He loves to sunbathe and this is just one of his favorite spots. 🙂
I hope your week is off to a great start!
