Hey there, everyone! I hope you had a great weekend. Ours was full of family time and that’s pretty much the best way to spend a weekend, yes?
There’s some fun new stuff at our house that I’ve been excited to share. Just little bits and pieces that are making our space come together the way I hoped it would.
This little table was on deep dark dirty discount at HomeGoods — it was $22! I knew that I wanted a side table for our new chair, just to kind of balance the room out, but I had to play a game of musical furniture to figure out the room (more on that tomorrow).
It’s really small, and I feel like that’s what’s so great about it. It’s petite but can still hold a sizable bouquet of flowers or an appetizer plate.
I moved these pillows outside onto our bench. Eventually I would love to get another seat cushion for this — this one is kind of worn and pretty dirty. This bench is special to me, though — it was in my Gramma’s apartment before she passed away last year and she loved to sit on it. I love having it in our yard!
Our new Spring wreath. I had planned on making one but I just haven’t had the time lately and I wanted something on my naked door. 😉 It’s from HomeGoods.
The succulent that was in this little bowl was very, very dead. But you wouldn’t know because I avoided having it in the frame of any of my photos! 😉 I was so excited to find this drapey succulent at Home Depot…I went there with a picture in my head of what I wanted to find, and they had just what I pictured! I love when that happens.
New lamp and framed art. The lamp is from Target and I will tell you that it looks really nice up close. The light it gives off is very bright, too, so it’s perfect for task lighting. The art is, where else, a HomeGoods find, and my husband was the one who found it because he’s awesome. It really complements the colors in the room, and I love how the metal finishes of the art and the lamp look together.
I hope you have a great Monday!
Absolutely wonderful Maria! I learn something new everytime I read your blog!!
