An Elegant Halloween Part 1

These next couple of days I will be sharing my in-laws’ awesome Halloween decor.  My mom-in-law goes all out and I always get so excited to see the vignettes that she creates for pretty much every holiday or season.  She is where I get so much of my inspiration from.  🙂

I feel like my mom-in-law’s approach to Halloween decor is to make it spooky, but make it pretty.  There are a lot of items that she has on hand that she uses for all sorts of vignettes — vintage books, feathers, vase fillers, moss…  These are all items that are really versatile throughout any season.

I took a ton of pictures, so I’m breaking up the sharing into two posts.  Enjoy!

These printables can be found here.  And that werewolf fur?  That’s our pup’s fur, lol.  Shedding season comes right at the same time as Halloween season.  😉  Although I believe this is the same fur as last year…

I love the black tulle spread across the mantel.  Perfectly creepy.
