Hey there! Get ready for picture overload because I am sharing our Halloween decor today…finally! This post has been in the works for a while — the first batch of photos I took I wasn’t happy with, and then I moved some things around and zhushed some things anyway, so I’m glad I waited to share. 🙂
Welcome! 🙂
So, I really like how this vignette ended up turning out, but it took some time. That web was more difficult to get “right” than I thought it would be! It was tricky, but I think I learned some things for next time. 🙂 The spider is from Target, and I ended up gluing a small hair clip to the back of him so that I could clip him to the mirror and make it look like he was scurrying down. I used E6000 — hot glue did not work, just FYI. Much like my DIY Creepy Crawly Wreath. The printable can be found here and I always like using a fun one in this frame.
This cloche is from Target, as well as the small skulls and the skeleton hand. I added a bunch of moss and you should have seen me trying to get these skulls under here… It was ridiculous, lol.
I hot glued the spider (also from Target) onto the candle votive. I thought I could sacrifice one in my collection in the name of permanent Halloween decor. 😉
Of course I had to decorate our trays on our coffee table that are a constant staple. I was just thinking the other day that I may be ready to do something a little bit different here. Maybe after Christmas… I do love it, but kind of craving something fresh.
This skull is from the Target Dollar Spot… I think it was $3? It’s one of those easy little DIY paint projects, but I knew I wanted to keep it white. I put black sand in the bottom so that it kind of looked like dirt, then layered the moss and placed the skull. The spider is just an added creepy bonus. 😉
Cocktail napkins from HomeGoods, of course. They have the best.
Fun skull candles from HomeGoods, too. I added a little bit of moss for extra spookiness.
The orange-y pillows felt like Fall to me. The fabric is soft and cozy, too — they are great napping pillows!
My hubby’s pipe station got a little bit decked out for the holiday, too. He was happy about that — can’t forget him!
This is just a little display in our kitchen. It takes up valuable counter space, but it’s cute!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a great rest of your week.
