Good morning! Happy Almost-Friday! 😉
We are easing into Fall over here and enjoying it so much. I’ve been spending some wonderful time puttering around our house and adding some Fall touches here and there. Just trying to cozy it up a bit, remembering that my goal for this season (and beyond!) is cozy imperfection.
Something I love to do is change out our wreath outside depending on the season. I wanted to do something that was a simple transition for the start of the season — I wasn’t ready for full-on Fall or a Halloween wreath at this point. I just wanted a little nod to this awesome time of year.
I found this adorable ‘Home Sweet Home’ sign in the Target Dollar Spot (more like the $10 spot amiright?!) and it made me feel all those cozy feelings I want to feel this time of year.
The letters were just raw wood but I wanted to darken them up a bit. I wiped some Tim Holz Distress Ink (Vintage Photo) onto a cotton pad and then swiped the letters and sides of the sign. Then I wired the sign into the wreath — I wire things into this wreath all the time! It’s become my most versatile wreath. 🙂
The little sprig of pumpkins are from At Home and they have a velvet texture to them. Just a cute little nod to the season.
I looked through my Fall Pinterest board and found some other fun examples of simple wreaths that could easily start the season with just a subtle hint…

Do you like to make or buy wreaths this time of year? (I like to do both!;0)
Have a great day, everyone!
