It’s that time of year when I start to crave layered everything. 🙂 A good, well-designed, cozy space just gets my creative juices flowing. This is especially the time when I start to appreciate and love – even more than usual – a warm and inviting laundry room or mudroom. I just can’t get enough of of these spaces!
We have a humble little entryway off of our garage that we have overhauled a bit to work for us and our little family. We added some storage and organizational bits and pieces to keep us feeling orderly and keep the entry clutter of mail, keys, and bags at bay.
The letter board is so much fun. You bet your booty it has gotten a little update for Fall, too! More on that soon. 😉
As much as I love our little entryway organization, I can’t say I don’t love looking at gorgeous, much larger mudrooms and laundry rooms — some that pull double duty! These spaces make me crave Fall just as much as a bin full of pumpkins at Trader Joe’s – ha! Am I alone in this?

Aren’t all of those spaces so gorgeous? In honor of cozy laundry / mudrooms, I pulled together some inspiration for the room I’m currently dreaming of. 🙂 Obviously there would be soapstone countertops, a window seat and Roman shade situation, flooring with personality, and no shortage of brass!
