Each year I post about Pantone’s Color of the Year. I have to say that in recent years it hasn’t really thrilled me! But I’m excited about this year’s color — Living Coral.
It’s a fun color, isn’t it? I like to post about these yearly colors because they show up in design across the board in big ways — interior design, fashion, graphic design… I’m not one to really add anything trendy on purpose in our house for the sake of trendiness alone, but it’s still fun to take notice of what is happening in the world of color and design. This color feels so lively to me and is really a happy color in my book. I’ll never pass up a good coral! 😉
If you’re looking for simple ways to add this color to your space, pillows, accent rugs, accessories, or even a little artwork will do the trick. No need to fully commit.
